August 2010 Blessings

The month of August 2010 has been so much fulfilling time of my life. I had the greatest opportunity I can desire for myself and for my family, as I finished attending the Level 02 Maha Deeksha at the Oneness University, then later on I took the opportunity to attend the Mukti Deeksha Process at Oneness Temple and personal meeting with Amma and the sevaks class of Sri Bhagavan at the Oneness Temple for the people of Gujarat.

It was just one amazing journey from "I" to "Everyone"; from "me" to "share", from suffering to the Experience of Causeless Joy.

The Teachings at the Level 02 Maha Deeksha course was an eye opener for me. The teachings were so deep, and the guides took the class so well for us. It was one wonderful process, wherein I saw the whole world like me in other words, whole world with me. I felt such great connection to everyone around.....I can say, even now I feel the same. That experience has somewhat changed my perception of "my little world" and my place in the larger world. In the process, I could become the part of the Great Vision of the Visioners Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan, and my little contribution in His Wide Network.

Now I know only one word which is "Mukti" = Liberation.

Then, with support of my family, I proceeded ahead to attend the Mukti Process at the Oneness Temple. The Two Day Process was immensely deep and liberating. The moment, the energy of the Oneness Temple hit my brain, I began to perceive everything so very different. I could become one with the Vision of Amma Bhagavan, the seeds of spirituality probably has seeded more deeply. Here I would like to share one of my experience, from my past.

In year 2004, when Sri Bhagavan blessed me with Mukti Deeksha , it was my first, profound encounter with the Experience of Enlightenment. For more than an hour, that experience lived in me....wherein I saw the whole External World was nothing but an Experience for me.....right from the trees I saw, the plants, the dog, even the dustbin at the corner, was an Experience for me.....The mind had almost reduced to zero, thoughts slowered down, there was only joy, love pervading within me. Well, ofcourse, with time, the experience went away....as the energy changed, the consciousness kept fluctuating, but never ever I could forget the moment of that time. That was the first time, I felt Sri Bhagavan's Immense Power and his Intentions for the humanity. It is that faith that keeps me so close to the Oneness, and to the Visionaries of Oneness.

So the seeds of the Mukti experience which was sown then, has begun to sprout today. I don't know what I have received in the Process; but since the time I have attended, I am thanking everything, everyone, every event, every condition for bringing forth what I am today. There is litttle silence, little joy pervading within me; I am feeling more connected of the other suffering, that the other is no different from me, we are one, we are connected like the cells of One Body. And the only deeksha that is coming from my heart is 'Deeksha for liberation from suffering.'

With love, Gratitude,

Aishwarya

On Mother's Day

On Mother's Day, I and Akshara celebrated "Daughter's Day" - where we both enjoyed delicious meals and variety of snacks and fruits. I set aside all my usual work, and spent my time only with Akshara (of course with her daddy too),yet Akshara was my center of attraction.

Yes, I know, as a housewife; I am always with the little one, then why such a special preference to her today? To tell you the truth, sometimes, the routine in the weekdays goes so busy that I find little time exploring my Motherhood. I sometimes feel, like I am like any baby sitter  who is there only to feed the little one timely, putting her to bath, clean her litters, and the rest of the time engaging her in random acitivities, so that I get time to do other work.In all this I MISS THE FUN of being a mother. I miss the fun of playing with her; in the way she loves it to be. But today I enjoyed so much. We both played our special games - hide and seek; make funny faces; have long, irrelevant conversations n her responses to those talks. mimicking her actions all with laughs, screams and cries....WOW! As of now, she is Lightening Spirit of my life; making my life so complete.

Thanks mom, for giving me birth and also making me know the Essence of Motherhood.

We also took some random pics....in the night (our usual playtime) before sleep. Will upload it soon.

Akshara is now 13 months old.

I can see her hair growing long and so are her brains. I guess, DHA is playing its best role in the brain development. :-)

But truly, its just fascinating for me and Karthik to see  her relating to things, communicating with people and understanding our simple instructions as Take, Give, Go, Come, Bye......and few more.

Last few weeks, I got totally busy with home activities, that I did not get time to update here.

So I am making a few notes now -

  • At 12 months, Akshara soon developed a taste and liking for other foods. She stopped troubling me; and would gobble off  mashed daal-rice, peanut butter bread, anything that was soft, warm and easy to gulp.
  • February 01, 2010 - Akshara got her first Upper Teeth; after completion of her 1 year and few days. (Thank U God to relieve me from people's enquiries). :-D. Following the first one; she got her second and third milk teeth on February 15 and February 20.

Thats her progress report!

Now let me note down few more interesting developments I see in her (after her completion of 12 months).

  • Before we leave our bedroom; Akshara runs back to the balcony; closes the door and then comes running to me (cue: lift her up). - She does it every time we have to leave the room; just as I do always. I stayed amused when she did it the first time. Nevertheless, children learn from what they see, they mimic their parents.
  • This one is even more interesting; and I and Karthik were spell bounded to see her grown. Akshara has a toy mobile; which plays music. That day, she pressed the button of her toy mobile; and when music played; she would go back; and take circles as if to 'dance on the tunes'. Once the music goes off, she would again press the button; and turn around n few steps here and there. I and Karthik smiled at each other; rejoicing our little Akshara growing beautifully.
  • When Karthik Paa returns back home; he gets the Best Welcome from her dear daughter. I guess, no one would be welcomed so lovingly; as Akshara does it everyday for her daddy. This is something a worth to watch and felt in heart.
Some cherishing memories for me, as her mother.
  • This period is an invent of mother-daughter bonding games; silly; yet she likes it so much - that she would keep on laughing, and make sounds out of excitement.
  • We have also begin to move out together at the parks; malls. When she is with me, she has her whole freedom to express herself; walking and running in the malls on her own. And other times, I would hold her tiny fingers so that she might not get away elsewhere.
  • All the times, when I feed her; she would too grab a bit of her (mum-mum) and put a chunk into my mouth too.
  • The best and sweet kisses that we give to each other periodically.
  • Our Quality dance steps together.
Its Akshara's effortless effort to laugh; to rejoice; to cherish, is bringing back the Liveliness and Innocence of my past times. Its my promise, my little girl, we shall remain Best Friends forever.

Love you,

Yours Mumma

Today is Akshara's Star Birthday

Today Akshara has turned 1 year old; according to her Star Birthday.

The weather in Delhi is 17 Degrees right now; and foggy too; yet I have given her, her headbath; put on her new Baba Suit (as we plan to be at home). It was the first day; first time; she was scared of taking a bath; and cried all the time till she was on shower. I am astonished; to see her growing into a toddler....but I shall make sure that her Innocent Smiles shall always remain on her face; even as she grows older into a big adult; one like us.

Cheers to Akshu Kutty

With love

Akshara playing with my Dupatta (दुपट्टा) on her friend's birthday party :-D

Akshara begins to recognize her freind's photo

Yesterday night, I found Akshara suddenly jumping and screaming with joy when her friend's photo came on my laptop screen saver. She has begin to recognize people in the pics. Another Milestone crossed at 10 months.

Tomorrow she gonna be 11 months old! Oh...its almost going to be one year; since the time she has come into mine and Karthik's life.

Amazing, Loving and Blessed are these days.

Akshara's first visit to a birthday party

What more to say, about my little daughter

Akshara, when today I just enjoyed taking her

to my neighbour's home; for his niece's birthday

party. As soon as Akshara saw her co-friends

with her - aged between 6 and 10; she would

not stop calling them or talking to them.

When the music was put on; she too wanted to

dance along with it. And to add on (to dance),

she pulled off my dupatta and began to play

with her. It was fun to watch her explore people

and places.
