Oil free pillow....

Sharing and even treasuring the moments of Akshara, my daughter. Today she is 3 years and 5 months old. No words to express how happy she makes me feel when she is around.

This happened yesterday. My maid was oiling my hair, when akshara insisted that she too wants. So after our turns were over, I just casually  passed a sentence that 'Today whenever we lie on bed, we shall drape towel on our pillows to avoid stain'. I said and I forgot about it. After 5 minutes, Akshara requested me for a hand towel. I asked why does she want it. She replied 'mummy you only said na to put towel on the pillow, I want to lie down here, so it will become dirty.

I was stunned with the her maturity. With so much ease and innocence she expressed her love for me; acceptance for my words. Each time I counter her, she becomes a mirror to me. She tells me that I have only grown old by age and not by heart, for I can't hold so much love that she showers on me.

Things i learned about myself :

Things I learned in the first quarter of the Year 2012:

I love coffee more than tea.

I love gadget; when I shared this to my friend - she described us as a Gadget Friendly Family. :-P

I enjoy my day when I spend few minutes talking to the Divine within daily.

Christmas 2011

It is Christmas season, a time to rejoice and become children again!!!

My Biggest inspiration for this christmas is my little one, Akshara. Yesterday we were talking about things here and there, when suddenly I remembered and thus mentioned to her that it is Christmas time. She got so excited and she immediately asked me "Mummy, will Santa Claus come? Will the Santa bring Gift for me? I said "Yes, beta Santa Claus is on his way to come." She kept on jumping, murmuring, talking to herself, to the "Santa-her dream friend", and all her imaginary friends Pingu, Pinga, Paapaa, that Santa Claus is coming! When her pappa arrived from office, she mentioned about the gifts and The Santa Claus to him too. Karthik looked at me, he too couldn't stop himself from smiling; for now we both understand that "this year, Santa is coming to my home and going to present to our little one". :-D :)

So thus, we are all now waiting for Santa Claus, for the Christmas!

Remembering the famous and sweetest Christmas Carol from my school time:

Christmas is coming, the geese are getting fat
Please put a penny in the old man's hat
If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny will do
If you haven't got a ha'penny, then God bless you!

Many Greetings and Many Many Blessings to you.

Birthday Treat

Westend Mall , Rajouri Garden, Delhi
On my birthday, my husband took leave from work, and we went out for dinner at West End Mall, Rajouri Garden, Delhi.

We had actually planned to go to some other restaurant, but on reaching there, we got to know that the place was already booked for a big party. We were already very hungry, and not in mood to go about places to search for the right kind of restaurant. And so as soon as we came out, "Moti Mahal - Tandoori Trails" caught up our attention, and we both nodded in agreement.
Akshara at the Mall

Me
At Moti Mahal, as we were going through the menu book, we realized that we had come to the Finest Indian and Mughlai Cuisine" of Delhi. Moti Mahal was the first Indian restaurant to introduce Tandoori cuisine to the world. Moti Mahal was first set up in Peshawar in 1920, and trailed to Delhi in 1947. Moti Mahal Tandoori Trail”, which is the new contemporary look of the Moti Mahal retraces its glorious past and signifies Moti Mahal’s Culinary-trail from Peshawar to Delhi.

So we had stomach full food, but more than that I and Karthik had a great time together, passing those loving glances and feeling proud about sticking together throughout the ups and downs of our lifetime.

Thank you Karthik for making my day. :-D :)

Thank You Note.....

Well it is that time of my life, when I happen to complete my 27 long years today. And I have everything that God wanted me to have.

I am feeling so grateful and so happy that I wanna hug HIM and kiss HIM, and share out my love and joy to HIM. :)

Just yesterday only I was thinking, that how He has been helping me directly or through somebody or through some situations....if the incidents caused pain - He Stood By Me (in the form of family, friends). In the times of laughter - He became a part in my fun. On all those disturbing hours; he cajoled me with love and took care that my heart heals soon. :)   All these and many other ways, He has made me feel proud and happy about myself. When I look into my past, I review it as a movie; filled with fun, emotion, drama, action, fiction, nostalgic, love, and all other experiences that has enriched my life. Each experience, each incident, each person had something to add into my life. Today I take a moment to thank all of them. My heartfelt thanks to my papa, mummy, sister, hubby, daughter, in-laws, brother in law, friends, relatives and my big Oneness Family.

Thank you so much Lord, thank you......when I meet u again in Heaven, I would like to hug you tightly..........

Thank you.

Two Happy Hours

This is just a piece of sharing, and a remembrance for my whole life.

Today I went to Saloon along with my kid Akshara. I was doubtful about Akshara; whether she will remain quiet or would trouble me all the while. But I had no other go, than to take her with me.

But I was amazed; for Two Happy Hours she remained quiet, watching me get pampered, conversing with me about the  apples that she is finding interesting to eat; and about the new toy that her father bought for her....and so on. After a while, she even tried to help herself with the few instruments lying around her (mimicking the beautician).

Really never in my life, I had imagined a kid to be so patient, enduring, loving as Akshara! At that time, I had nothing else in my mind, than Thanking the Lord for giving me 'the best'; in the form of my daughter.

Akshara's First Tri-Cycle - 20 months old

Yeah Akshara on her new Tri-Cycle
In this photo, she is crying for the Camera.

While clicking the photo, I realized that its gonna be highly impossible for me to remove the camera from the cover. So I too demanded for a nice mobile with camera; FYI - I did not cry for it!
:P    :D

Playtime....

I have no idea, from where she learnt this!!!!

Idli with Tomato Ketchup...

Have you ever tasted Idli with Tomato Ketchup???? Try it out with your baby....

Akshara is trying her the latest 'Recipe of the Day', seated on her newly arranged Chair and a Table! She loved it.
I found her licking the Ketchup too!!!
